Breakfast for champions

The College recognises the crucial part male role models play in the development of boys into gentlemen, and encourages opportunities for father and son bonding.

The delicious aroma of coffee and bacon and egg burgers greeted CBC Fremantle dads and their bleary-eyed sons this morning as they celebrated a special Father's Day Breakfast in the Cloisters.

The threatening rain held off and the crisp, cold morning was the perfect accompaniment to warm coffee as dads spent the morning enjoying a chat with their sons as they ate their breakfast.

Speaking at the event, Principal Mr Shaun Kenny encouraged boys to treasure their fathers, and reflected on the important bond between father and son. He called for boys to show more affection to the most important man in their lives, a challenge eagerly accepted on the spot by the College's young gentlemen.

The Parent Auxiliary and College staff worked with student volunteers to produce the early morning fare, which was very much appreciated by the hungry boys and their dads.
